mrkt beater is a marketplace for resellers of physical goods. The following items are not allowed, regardless of condition, legality in your jurisdiction, or how they are described. Listings that violate this policy will be removed and accounts may be suspended.

Weapons & dangerous goods

  • Firearms, handguns, rifles, and shotguns
  • Ammunition, gun parts, high-capacity magazines, and suppressors
  • Switchblades, brass knuckles, and other illegal weapons
  • Tasers and stun guns (where prohibited by state law)
  • Explosives, fireworks, and flares
  • Pepper spray and tear gas in quantities exceeding personal use

Drugs & regulated substances

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription medications (no license exemption)
  • Synthetic drugs and research chemicals
  • Products marketed to circumvent drug testing

Counterfeit & stolen goods

  • Counterfeit, replica, or knock-off branded items
  • Items with fake, removed, or altered serial numbers
  • Stolen property of any kind
  • Items that infringe on trademarks, patents, or copyrights
  • Unlicensed copies of software, media, or games

Alcohol & tobacco

  • Alcohol (beer, wine, spirits) — requires a license we don't support
  • Cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco
  • Vapes, e-cigarettes, and e-liquids
  • Tobacco products marketed to minors

Adult & offensive content

  • Pornography or sexually explicit material
  • Items that promote hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
  • Items glorifying or promoting terrorism or mass violence

Hazardous materials

  • Toxic or corrosive chemicals
  • Pesticides, herbicides, and restricted agricultural chemicals
  • Radioactive materials
  • Products subject to an active safety recall (check CPSC.gov)
  • Items with banned or restricted ingredients (lead paint, asbestos, etc.)

Animals & wildlife

  • Live animals
  • Ivory, shark fins, and products from endangered or protected species (CITES)
  • Animal fur, feathers, or parts where restricted by law

Financial instruments

  • Counterfeit currency or coins
  • Gift cards and stored-value cards (high fraud risk)
  • Lottery tickets, betting slips, or gambling devices
  • Securities, bonds, or financial contracts

Human remains & body parts

  • Human remains, organs, blood, or tissue
  • Items derived from humans without ethical and legal clearance

Other

  • Services — mrkt beater is for physical goods only
  • Items illegal to sell under US federal or applicable state law
  • Any item we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful, deceptive, or inconsistent with the spirit of the marketplace
